The OPS-RT150 is the perfect choice for installations in heavy rain conditions or areas where heavy rain is expected. Its purpose is to prevent the foam windscreen from becoming saturated, as a soaked windscreen can alter the frequency response of both the outdoor housing and the installed microphone. iSEMcon prioritizes delivering the most accurate measurement results, even in challenging weather.
The Roof Top includes optional anti-bird spikes, which can be installed by the user if needed. To optimize packaging and reduce parcel size, the spikes are provided separately rather than pre-installed.
With a diameter of 150mm, the fabric used in the Roof Top is both watertight and acoustically transparent (not rubber-coated). The fibers become water-resistant when wet, similar to tent fabric. The fabric can be removed for cleaning, washing, replacement, or re-impregnation.
